Showing Only Assigned Data in Dashboards

The Dashboard is the first thing all users see when logging in to their account; it serves as an overview of your account and how things are going inside of it. Unfortunately, this also means you might run into having sensitive information displayed, or confused team members who don’t understand certain additions. If you are a team manager or account admin, one of the tools you have to prevent any issues is giving your users a view of only their assigned data.

How to Limit the View #

  • Start by going into your Settings and opening the My Staff section. There, click on the pencil icon next to the desired user to edit their permissions.
  • Inside the editing screen, select the Roles and Permissions tab.
  • Open the Data Visibility menu and select “Only Assigned Data.”
  • Click Save, and you’re done.

Users will now only see data assigned to them. If a widget contains data specific to a different team member, they will only see a “Permission Required” message, ensuring privacy for sensitive information and helping your team maintain focus on the things that matter most.
