Steps Tab – Funnels

The Funnel Step Tab is your go-to hub for managing, customizing, and optimizing individual steps in your sales funnel. From adding new steps to conducting split tests, this guide walks you through the available features so your funnel aligns with your marketing goals.

To get started, go to the Sites section of the CRM. In the Funnels tab, choose one of the funnels you have previously developed. Upon selection, you will be automatically taken to the Step tab, where you can implement changes and fine-tune the components as needed.

Funnel Header #

In this area, you’ll notice a header presenting several sections to explore. Each section caters to distinct aspects of your sales funnels, providing tools and resources tailored to your needs.

Steps #

Funnels are built using steps that guide visitors toward completing specific actions, such as making purchases or booking appointments. Here you can create new funnel steps, rearrange steps via drag-and-drop, and assign products to steps for streamlined functionality.

Funnel Steps #

The left sidebar displays a list of existing funnel steps. You can rearrange their order by dragging and dropping them into the desired sequence.

Add New Funnel Step #

Click the “Add New Step or Import” button to incorporate a new step into your funnel. This allows you to expand and customize your funnel to meet the specific requirements of your marketing strategy.

Name Your Funnel Step #

Assign a name to your new funnel step. Establishing and maintaining a consistent naming convention is crucial, as this aids in organization. As you continue to develop more funnel steps, a well-organized structure becomes increasingly important for effective management and ease of use.

Establish Funnel Path #

You can assign a distinct URL path to your funnel step or use the same name as the funnel step itself for the URL path. Providing a URL path is essential, as this is a required field to save and implement the addition successfully.

Import From ClickFunnels (Optional) #

While it is not mandatory, you have the option to import funnels directly from ClickFunnels. If you have already created content and funnels within ClickFunnels, you can bring those existing funnels into your current platform by simply adding the relevant funnel URL in the designated field. This ensures a seamless transition and integration of your previous work. Finish the process by clicking the “Create Funnel Step” button.

Overview Tab #

Within the Overview tab, you can access each funnel step and make any necessary edits. This offers the flexibility to fine-tune and adjust your funnel steps so they align with your marketing objectives and provide an optimal user experience.

Products Tab #

Create and manage products directly within your funnel. Choose from one-time purchases or subscription-based products, catering to varied customer preferences.

Publishing Tab #

Modify the step name and URL path in the Publishing Tab. This feature provides flexibility to update your funnel’s structure and presentation.

Funnel Page Setting #

Clicking on the gear icon takes you to the Publishing page, where you can modify the step name and URL path.

Funnel Page URL #

This is your domain and the URL path you assigned to the funnel step. It is the actual location where your funnel step resides online.

Open Funnel Page #

This button is located to the right of the URL and looks like a square with an arrow. Clicking it displays the funnel page in a separate browser tab, allowing you to view and access the individual funnel step without disrupting your current workflow.

Preview Image #

In this section, you are presented with a preview image of your funnel step, giving you a visual representation of its current design.

Build/Edit Funnel Step #

To modify a step, click Edit Page or Edit in a New Tab. Selecting the “In New Tab” button opens a specific funnel step using its precise URL path. This opens the page editor, giving you access to a full suite of customization tools.

Preview In Web Browser #

You will see an icon that looks like a square with an arrow that allows you to open a preview of the step without affecting your analytics and conversion metrics. By viewing a preview instead of visiting the actual URL, you can maintain the accuracy of your data. Clicking this button opens the preview in a new browser tab.

Edit Funnel Name & Path #

By selecting the settings icon, you will notice an additional button that directs you to the Publishing tab. This enables you to modify the funnel step name and its associated URL path, giving you greater control over your funnel’s organization and structure.

Split Testing Funnel Steps #

Enhance your funnel’s performance with split testing. Create variations of a step, compare results, and refine your approach based on data-driven insights.

Create Split Test Variation #

Generate alternative versions of a step by clicking the “+ Create Variation” button. Test different layouts, content, or CTAs to determine what resonates most with your audience.

Delete Funnel Step #

Remove unnecessary funnel steps by clicking “Delete Funnel Step.” Be cautious, as this action is irreversible.

Clone Funnel Step #

Save time by cloning existing funnel steps. This feature allows you to duplicate steps within the same funnel or across multiple accounts, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

The Funnel Step Tab equips you with robust tools to manage and optimize your sales funnel. Whether you’re adding new steps, conducting split tests, or refining existing elements, this feature ensures a seamless workflow for achieving your marketing objectives.
