The Prospecting Tool allows users to search for and analyze potential clients based on their online presence and digital needs. It’s particularly useful for identifying local businesses that could benefit from the services offered through the CRM. This tool is invaluable for understanding what services you can offer to local business owners to enhance their digital footprint.

How to Access the Prospecting Tool #

Navigate to your agency dashboard, then locate and click on the “Prospecting” option. Here, you can add prospects by locating them manually or entering their virtual listing, and locate prospects in the list easily by typing a few characters in the search bar.

You can organize your results by using the categories, source, or status. Or add and manage categories with the Categorize now button.

Performing Your First Search #

To begin, click the Add a Prospect button.

Enter a search term related to the type of businesses you’re targeting, then choose a location and radius. The tool will display a list of businesses, along with a map and various company details.

Understanding Search Results #

In the search results, you’ll find information such as whether the business has claimed its Google Business Profile, if its website is built on WordPress, and its conversion rate. This data is crucial for identifying how you can assist these businesses.

Note: You can also use Google Maps URLs to generate accurate prospecting reports and analyze Virtual Businesses. For more details on this feature, please refer to the other articles in this section.

Adding Prospects #

Once you have identified the prospects, click the “Add Multiple Prospects” button.

When adding a new prospect, you can assign relevant categories.

Note: To send new prospects into pipelines, you must use Prospecting inside your Sub-Account.

Analyzing Company Details #

Saving and Accessing Prospects #

Upon finding a promising prospect, their prospect report will be generated for further analysis.

Click the back button to view information about their account, notes, and business details within the “Account Details” section.

This includes an overview of the business, contact information, social profiles, company size, area of expertise, website, and general information. The Account Details section allows you to make informed decisions about the prospect.

The Point of Contacts section displays comprehensive information on the leads associated with the business. Navigate to the “Point of Contacts” tab to gain access to crucial contact information.

Converting Prospects to Clients #

Should a prospect show interest based on the report, you can easily convert them to a sub-account. To do so, first mark the lead as won.

By leveraging this tool, you can gain valuable insights into local businesses, optimize your service offerings, and enhance your CRM’s efficiency.
