The Order Placed trigger is utilized for workflows when a customer places an order through your Shopify store. Use this workflow trigger to send internal notifications of placed orders to team members, follow up with customers, and more.

To start, click Add New Trigger, then select Order Placed.

Filters #

Once selected, click Add Filters to further customize it. The main filter for this trigger will be Cart Value.

Cart Value #

The Cart Value filter is designed to enable users to select a cart value with specific customizations. Once instructions, such as cart value greater than $500, are provided, the trigger will activate. First, select the filter, then add an operator for the value.

Once the filter is set in place, click Save Trigger. After this, you can add any actions you’d like the workflow to follow. Remember to click save at the top right corner to maintain your changes and switch your workflow to Publish once you’re ready to implement the automation.
