Making a survey that fits your business interest and branding is crucial in giving your customers a tailored and satisfying experience that promotes revenue growth. The “Settings” section inside your Survey builder will help you achieve that personalization.
To access it, switch to the Settings section using the top bar.
On Submit #
Here, you will set what happens when your survey is submitted. You can pick between:
- Redirect to URL: If you choose the Open URL option, the visitor will be redirected to the designated web page of your choice. A Thank You page is recommended as it provides positive reinforcement for the visitor.
- Message: You can opt for the Message option, which allows you to display a custom message created by you upon submission.
- Order Confirmation: If you’re using the survey to sell products or collect payments, you can select this option to display a small order confirmation once payment is completed.
Message #
When using the Message option, you can write and format your message with inline styles: bold, italics, font sizes, colors, emojis, and more, all directly inside the editor. You can customize your layout for Desktop and Mobile independently with the icon at the top right corner. Additionally, you can customize background, font weight, padding, margin, and text box corner radius in the Message Styling section.
Preview #
The preview section helps you see how your message looks against your actual background image, updated instantly as you edit.
Disqualify Immediately #
When building your survey, you have the option to “Disqualify Immediately” when a visitor chooses a specific answer. This is very valuable when qualifying leads. You can choose what happens to that visitor when they are immediately disqualified. You have two options:
- Open URL: The visitor will be sent to the URL of your choice.
- Message: Your visitor will see a message after being disqualified, and remain on the same page. You will need to add a message in the input section for this to take effect.
Disqualify After Submit #
You also have the option to “Disqualify After Submit” when a visitor chooses a specific answer. This will allow the visitor to finish the entire survey, but be disqualified at the end. You can choose what happens to that visitor. You have two options:
- Open URL: The visitor will be sent to the URL of your choice.
- Message: Your visitor will see a message after being disqualified, and remain on the same page. You will need to add a message in the input section for this to take effect.

- Scroll to Top: By using this toggle option, you can choose to scroll to the top of the survey.
- Sticky Contact: Sticky contact will autofill your visitor’s contact information that was previously entered so they do not need to enter it twice.
- Use GDPR-Compliant Font: This will replace your fonts with one that complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Enable Timezone: By keeping the toggle on, you can get the timezone information of the individual submitting the survey.
