  • You’re purchasing a number with a +1 country code (US, Canada, or Puerto Rico)
  • Your sub-account has not previously completed the Persona verification process

Uploading Valid Identification #

You will then be guided to upload a valid, government-issued ID, such as a passport, driver’s license, or national ID card. The types of accepted documents will vary based on the selected country.

Live Selfie Verification #

Once the document is uploaded, the system requests a live selfie to match the ID using the device’s webcam or phone camera. This step confirms that the person submitting the document is the rightful owner.

Upon completing the verification, the purchase proceeds instantly, and no additional action is required from the user.

This one-time verification step ensures that only legitimate users gain access to regulated phone numbers—protecting businesses, their customers, and the platform as a whole.

  • If the Persona verification modal doesn’t appear, users may need to refresh the page to load the updated flow.
