Go To Action

Go To Action

In workflows, the Go To Action simplifies transitioning contacts from one step to another. It’s an essential tool for managing complex workflows with multiple branches, ensuring seamless movement through the process without duplicating actions.

To begin, click on the “+” icon, search and select the “Go To” Action, save the action, and then click on any action within the workflow you want the “Go To” destination to be connected to.

Create a Path #

To establish a Go To path, identify the steps in your workflow where you want to create a connection. Highlighted in light green, these steps can be easily linked. Either drag the light green dot to the target dark green dot, or click directly on the target step to create the path automatically.

Once the dots are connected, the path is created, and contacts reaching the “Go To” step will automatically shift to the target event connected by the dotted line. For example, contacts will go directly to the “Create or Update Opportunity” action upon reaching the “Go To” step.

Delete a Path #

To remove a path, click on the unlink icon associated with the connection and select Remove Path to delete the connection. This ensures workflows remain clear and flexible, even as your processes evolve.

The Go To Action is a powerful feature for creating streamlined, efficient workflows. Whether you’re connecting steps, adjusting paths, or removing outdated links, this action provides the tools to design workflows tailored to your needs. With clear connections and intuitive functionality, the Go To Action ensures smooth transitions and organized processes every time.
