How to Transfer Out a Domain

How to Transfer Out a Domain

Hosting your domain directly inside the CRM has plenty of advantages. However, if things aren’t working as expected for you or you simply found a better deal with a different registrar, you can transfer your domain outside the CRM by following these steps:

First, head to the Domain & URL Redirects section inside your account settings and click Manage next to the internal domain you want to transfer.

Inside your domain details, switch to the Advanced Settings.

Select “Configuration” then click “Transfer to Another Registrar.”

Choose a registrar from the dropdown menu, then click continue.

A screen containing the benefits of keeping your domain in the system, click Continue to move on to the next step.

Select a reason for transferring, enter any comments you have about the local hosting, and click Continue.

Toggle the lock off.

Once unlocked, click Get Code to send the authorization code to the domain owner’s email. Use this code to complete the Transfer to your new registrar.

Since the system verifies if the domain is eligible based on its status, you will not have to take additional steps. Simply complete the required steps by your selected registrar, and you’re done. We hope this helps!
