How to Transfer Ownership of a Community Group

Communities help you build relationships and engage with people interested in your business, so you don’t want to lose control of them if a team member is on vacation or leaves your company. But what should you do then? Let’s go over transferring ownership of a Community and help you maintain control.

  • Head to the Groups tab inside your Communities section.
  • Click the pencil icon next to the owner’s name.
  • Select the user you want to relinquish ownership to.
  • Check the box to confirm the action, then click Transfer Ownership.

After confirming, an email will be sent out to the selected user notifying them of the changes.
