How to Purchase a Domain

To make your products available to your target audience, you need to connect them to a domain name. There are a lot of providers you can purchase your domain from, all of them with their pros and cons. However, the easiest way to obtain and connect a domain to your account is directly from the Domains tab. Follow along to get your internal domain.

Purchasing a Domain #

Navigate to the Settings of the subaccount you wish to add a domain to, then open the Domains tab. Click the Purchase a Domain button to initiate the process.

Use the search bar to verify domain availability.

The platform will then display several options for you to choose from. Click Buy to complete the purchase directly within the platform.

After selecting your domain, choose a registration term ranging from 1 to 10 years (depending on availability) from the “Pricing Option” dropdown menu.

Note: If a domain’s renewal price differs from its registration price, it can only be registered for 1 year during the initial purchase.

Agree to the terms and conditions, then click Buy. The cost of your domain will be charged to your wallet or its associated payment method.

Once you complete your purchase, the domain connection flow will automatically authorize and add records.

Managing Connections #

Click “Manage” to connect products or add connections to your domain.

Connecting Products #

To connect any internal products, such as a Funnel or Client Portal, click “+ Connect.”

Click “Connect” next to the product you want to manage.

You’ll be prompted to enter the domain or subdomain you want to connect to the selected product. Once you do, click Add Records, and the system will manage the connection.

Managing DNS Records #

You can monitor, modify, and add DNS records to your domain by switching to the DNS Records tab.

To edit a record, click the three-dot icon and select edit.

To add a new record for external connections with your CRM, click “+ Add Record.”

Enter your records as per your requirements, then click save.
