Task Completed Trigger

Task Completed Trigger

The Task Completed trigger starts your workflow when a task is marked as completed by a user. It is compatible with recurring tasks and tasks assigned to a specific user. It helps manage internal processes and ensures the customer journey continues without a hitch once a task is completed.

Using the Task Completed Trigger #

Create a new workflow by selecting + Start from Scratch.

Set your trigger as “Task Completed” by adding a new trigger.

Applying Filters #

Click + Add Filters to narrow down the tasks that will trigger the workflow. The main filter is Assigned User, which lets you limit which user’s tasks trigger the workflow.

Select an operator for your filter. Your options are:

  • Is: Limits the workflow trigger to a specific user.
  • Is empty: Triggers the workflow only when there is no assigned user.
  • Is not: Excludes tasks assigned to a specific user.
  • Is not empty: Triggers the workflow only when there is an assigned user.

Once you have added the filters, click Save Trigger.

Add any actions you want the workflow to follow, then click Save at the top right corner. This trigger helps you follow up with customers and monitor that your team is completing assigned tasks without constantly checking the Tasks tab, enhancing efficiency and smoothing your operations.
