If you manage payments from multiple sources, the Payments section in your account offers robust filtering and sorting tools to help you stay organized and efficient. Effective order management is critical to maintaining smooth business operations, and centralizing all orders in one location improves visibility while streamlining financial oversight.
To import your orders into the platform, prepare a CSV file and upload it directly to your account. The process is simple and intuitive, and this guide walks you through each step.
How It Works #
- Access the Orders tab in the Payments section, then click the Import as CSV button.
- Click Download Sample CSV file to organize your information and use it as a template before importing. We also recommend reviewing the import guidelines to avoid errors. For example, currencies should be entered using ISO three-letter codes (e.g., use USD instead of the dollar symbol).
- Once your file is finalized, upload it by dragging and dropping it into the designated area or clicking the hyperlink to browse and select the file.
Note: The maximum allowed file size is 5 MB, and multiple files should be uploaded individually.
- Click Upload & Preview to proceed. If there are any issues in the file, you’ll be prompted to resolve them before continuing.
- A preview of your orders is displayed. Review the column headers and scan the data for accuracy. If any discrepancies are identified, click Cancel to make corrections. Once everything looks correct, click Import Orders.
The import process begins immediately, and you can monitor its progress in the pop-up modal. You may close the window at any time, since a confirmation email is sent once the import is complete.
Your orders then appear in the list, sorted in descending order by order date. These entries contribute to your business’s total revenue and are reflected in relevant dashboards and reports. For each order in the CSV file, a corresponding transaction record is automatically created and linked to the respective order. If customer details are included, new contacts are created where necessary, or orders are associated with existing contacts based on the provided information.
